"Cox and Sharp were both there and both say the car was being shot as Lavoy got out. Both say the FBI shot him and then shot him whilst he was on the ground already dead.

"Listen to the bs that McConnell put out. McConnell is a lying bastard and disinfo agent. McConnell is a plant. Cox also says that "Mark" (McConnell) set them up.

"Looking like the whole point of the operation was to show the American people that you will die and you will get set up by the guy stood next to you.

"McConnell has been thrown to the wolves now, he's served his purpose and I hope he got more than 40 pieces of silver because I'm guessing he won't be safe on the US Continent.

"Bad language alert in the below video but I think he nailed it."

Patriots of old and new blood, wherever they stand, stand with you. I stand with you in the memory of your Lavoy. Remember, it was also you who made him who he was, and still is in all of our hearts. May God protect you and keep you wholly in His embrace, for in faith Lavoy gave his life for you and us. And there is no greater an honor than that a man lay his life down for another, such a strength in faith receives an assured answer in Love.

Here in Australia these events are being largely ignored by the MSM. This story isn't something those that would control us want spreading around. I am making sure that people know about this.

Sorry for your loss. A loss to us all.

Shawna Cox Account
Posted on January 31, 2016 | Leave a comment

Ammon Bundy(R), leader of a group of armed anti-government protesters leaves with Shawna Cox(C), after speaking to the media as other members look on at the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge near Burns, Oregon January 4, 2016. The FBI on January 4 sought a peaceful end to the occupation by armed anti-government militia members at a US federal wildlife reserve in rural Oregon, as the standoff entered its third day. The loose-knit band of farmers, ranchers and survivalists -- whose action was sparked by the jailing of two ranchers for arson -- said they would not rule out violence if authorities stormed the site, although federal officials said they hope to avoid bloodshed. The matter is very simple indeed. The "pro" goes with the noun and the verb. The motto is taken from the commencement of a pleading in a proceeding by the Attorney-General at common law. ...[U]ntil the reign of George the Second, all pleadings were in Latin. The Attorney-General began, "Now comes so and so, Attorney-General, who prosecutes on behalf of our Lord, the King." In the reign of Elizabeth, of course, this would have been "who prosecutes on behalf of our Lady, the Queen." Domina Justitia - our Lady Justice[21/] - was substituted for our Lady the Queen, or our Lord the King. In other words, the seal asserts that the Attorney-General prosecutes on behalf of justice. This would seem a very appropriate motto for the Federal Department of Justice.

Killing Cowboys: Death in the West by Bill Buppert

Robert LaVoy Finucum is dead, gunned down in the winter snows of Oregon. Max Alexander has provided the best early commentary yet on the shooting. Finicum unceremoniously joins an impressive corpse-pile sponsored by the law enforcement complex in the US. The FBI Orcs were kind enough to release a snuff film apparently showing his murder from a hovering aircraft.
I leave it to other observers to examine the actual shooting footage and arrive at their own conclusions.

All of this may be the whimpering dénouement to the ill-planned stand-off with the Feds at the allegedly Federal Malheur Wildlife Refuge created in 1908 by the progressive Teddy Roosevelt to protect bird plumage from being filched by hunters to provide for the men’s and women’s hat industry in turn of the century America. Not a big concern right now.

The Feds, of course, never left as is their wont. Whether one reads the real history or watches the new crop of media such as Hell on Wheels which captured the bloodthirsty nature of all government in its outstanding fourth season. I would also recommend a viewing of my favorite Kirk Douglas movie, Lonely Are the Brave. Penned by that curmudgeonly anarchist, Ed Abbey.

I’ve got no dog in the fight with ranchers; most Western ranchers tend to get astounding below-market grazing leases that the rest of the booboise subsidizes for their cattle ranching operations.
I’m sympathetic to their dissatisfaction with the disproportionate monopoly on Federal land in the Western US. As with everything, the government soils and dishonors whatever it touches and the casualties in the West are no different. A number of observers have started After Action Reviews on the activities of these dissident ranchers who took armed possession of empty government buildings. Good on them. There is much to be captured and learned from this experience for the festivities to come as the nation continues its unraveling during the coming Endarkenment.

Scribble away but the preeminent observation is nothing new: the government will stop at nothing to include maiming and killing to maintain its stranglehold on the monopoly of initiated violence in the US and continue to wage a campaign on private defensive violence against their predations. The disparate “law enforcement” mechanisms from the Feds to the local Orcs will do what they are told to fulfill the political mission they are assigned.

All law enforcement is simply the bloody end of the spear of all politics. It ain’t much simpler than that. When that police vehicle has pulled over a driver because the speedometer in the offender’s car didn’t match the government signage, the cops are pursuing revenue and always trying to expand the search for more lucrative offenses that ironically may put the cash cow in a cage where it can no longer produce any loot to be stolen by the legal system.

One hears all the noise from the usual suspects in the media mewling about evil Mexican cartels in the illegal vegetation market and all of the necessary surrendering of rights and freedoms to ensure the safety of the subject Helots. Even worse as the inevitable blow-back from the American planetary imperial enterprise boomerangs back on an unsuspecting population.  One can’t help but think there is a cosmic smile on the face of the government mandarins as they titter at the inefficient and “barbaric” (if not primitive) means the cartels employ to get their slice of the good life.

The only difference between the criminal cartels and the government north and south of the border is the flags and awful music that attend the organized crime in DC and Mexico City.

So back to MWR and the recent murder of the 56-year old rancher by the Feds. The video has caused much consternation and he said/she said as far as did he grab a gun or didn’t he. Who knows? I tend to always believe the opposite of law enforcement reports because the coproaches have a vested interest in spinning the narrative in a fashion that cements their “fear for their lives” and other such boilerplate that paints so few minutes of their fear-filled lives.

How do you know a coproach is lying? Their mandibles are moving.

I want you to draw two distinct and unassailable lessons from the latest tragedy regardless of the poor quality of the video footage or the varying reports from whatever quarter. Hell, the whole sordid enterprise cements two existential lessons bloody in tooth and claw.

First, despite the fearsome noise and chest-thumping by any gun-owner in America and all the bloviating of the most heavily armed nation on Earth (accuracy be damned), the USA is a turnkey totalitarianism enterprise that has seen more and more freedom exsanguinated from its corpus than the last fifty years of the tottering and decaying USSR. Possibly never in the history of humanity has such heavily armed men ceded so much of their freedom willingly.

The Second Amendment is an empty promise gutted by the 1934 National Firearms Act, the 1938 Federal Firearms Act, the 1968 Gun Control Act, the 1986 Firearms Owners Protection Act and all the attendant nonsense to follow like NICS, the Assault Weapons Ban (more accurately a cosmetically offensive weapons ban) approved by both Busheviks and the Clintons. These are simply the highlights of a long and sordid weapons prohibition regime that any dictator would be fond of. In essence, the Supremes delivered another love letter to weapons prohibition with the “dangerous and unusual” nonsense in the DC v. Heller decision.

I used this lengthy preamble to illustrate a simple but salient point: the government doesn’t give a shit about your gun “rights” and they consider any man with a gun in his hand when confronted by their million plus occupation army in the guise of the police to be a dead man walking. No questions asked by the thousands plus reported corpses in 2015 attend to this willingness to murder any one with a weapon in hand. The cop who guns down a civilian whether justified or not stands a greater chance of being struck down by lightning than suffering the slightest rebuke for killing a Helot.

Finicum may have had a gun and that was enough for the cops to start shooting him. And get away with it.

That is the simple point I want to drive home. Despite the widespread ownership of guns in the US and actual persistent wearing of them by civilians in the Inland West, your bodily proximity to a gun is de facto and de jure justification for your maiming or death at the hands of the political constabulary. A finer point; all statist police are by their charter and nature, armed political organs. The Cheka and the Stasi are mere shadows compared to the license to kill granted all government cops in America.

But then again like the fantastically silly notion of implied consent and absent the armed law enforcement mechanism, how can any government harm a single civilian or deprive them of their liberty?

The second point riffs off the first. Armed government employees opened fire on a stopped vehicle after murdering Finicum when they had knowledge that other people were in the car to include a woman which Finicum had been trying to communicate to his killers as he exited the truck. Allegedly 100-120 rounds were fired at the vehicle before someone ceased fire and approached the truck.
Those who doubt this walk the dog. The FBI release aerial video footage (the aforementioned snuff film) that tracked (UAV or helicopter, who knows) the vehicle which one would assume had a starting point for the journey in which the FBI assayed a passenger manifest for who got in the vehicle.

A familiar playbook to those who observed the festivities at the Waco compound when government agents disposed of positive identification in laying down fire to a compound that they knew had women and children in addition to many other male non-combatants. They fired through walls with zero target identification.

Fast forward to Oregon. This was cold-blooded murder and the legendary lack of marksmanship skills on the part of American police may be the sole reason the passengers suffered no harm (unknown at this time) of death. This is also very demonstrative evidence that whatever an empire does abroad, it all comes home. There is certainly military TTP to this entire operation borrowed from the abortive COIN playbook that has sundered so many occupied countries overseas. It is all coming home: the biometrics, the robot aircraft, the militarization, the Close Quarters Battle clown posses, on and on.

So the Oregon escapade provides a grand harbinger of the future of how the American government and its armed minions will handle the incipient insurgency that is now inevitable in America. Ironically and this is unconfirmed, the vehicle Finicum was driving was heading to a peaceful meeting the FBI had arranged. Shades of Edward I’s machinations in treating with Scottish nobles.

This is a valuable slip of the mask of the mandarins in DC, the gloves are off.

This drives into sharp relief that the police are simply obedient to their political masters and will not hesitate to shoot anyone (even children, 19 murdered by cops in 2015) they suspect of being armed.

Make peace but do know harm.

School is in session, pay attention.

♦ The freedom continuum has two diametrically opposing forces on either end. On one end, the left, if you travel outward from democracy to socialism to communism eventually you arrive at totalitarianism. The absolute power of government over the individual. The maximum amount of liberty lost.

On the oppositional end, the right, again if you travel from democracy to a constitutional republic and keep going, eventually you arrive at a place absent of any government. This is anarchy. This is law of the jungle, survival of the fittest. Mad Max type societal tribe formation.

Neither path, left nor right, is good when taken to its ultimate conclusion.

However, the freedom continuum is not linear.

The freedom continuum is a loop, a circle, quivering like a bubble under the extreme forces of polarization and the customary antagonisms which result from oppositional forces in conflict. The circle closes the moment before the magnets clack.

The events near Burns Oregon are taking place in the narrowest of spaces where the continuum meets. The space where oppressive government and the total lack of government meet.
It is a tiny sliver of a space. A dangerous sliver of a space.

Inside this space is where all of the arguments, counter-arguments, opinions and counter-opinions are taking place. Historically, millions have died over the ideological battles which rage amid this sliver of a space.

Just like in nature’s delicate balance, the people within the Burns Oregon arguments, traveling from both the left and right – who live in/on this razors edge – are not always stable.

It’s a sketchy proposition to choose to engage with the inhabitants who find comfort within this space as described. Not every voice is (mentally) stable, or possess the needed internal self-regulating (emotional) compass headings to stay stable.

It is administratively very difficult and time consuming to try and keep the unstable minds out of the conversation as it is being discussed.

Secondly, those who show up to view (or engage in) the discussion, are also not necessarily who they appear to be. Nor do they hold altruistic motives for engaging in the discussions. Those of you who remember the prior need for password protected posts will well understand what is directly implied in that statement.

All of that said, if you want a safe place to hash it out – here you go. We make no promises about investing larger research time into this particular subject.

Always remember, these visible events are a symptom – they are not the underlying disease. We are working earnestly to cut clear margins right now.

Warmest best,

Family of LaVoy Finicum releases statement;

Family of LaVoy Finicum releases statement; funeral to be held in Kanab February 5

Fox 13
KANAB, Utah — The day after the FBI released footage from an incident in Oregon that ended with the death of protester LaVoy Finicum, the man’s family has released a statement saying they don’t believe the fatal shooting was justified.
The nearly three-page statement from the family opens by saying “We know that there are always at least two sides to every story. We also know and recognize that the FBI and law enforcement agencies involved will do everything in their power to make it appear as if the needless death of our husband, father, grandfather, brother and son, LaVoy Finicum, was justified.”
The family states they believe the standoff at the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge was on track for a peaceful resolution and that the authorities should have been more patient rather than seeking a confrontation.
As to the video, the family states they believe Finicum was moving away from the vehicle to “draw any hostility or violence away from the others” when he was shot.
They further state he was not holding a weapon and said from their view it appeared he was gesturing or trying to keep his balance, not trying to reach for a gun in a pocket.
The family’s attorney, Todd McFarlane, spoke to FOX 13 on the phone Friday night.
“I would have to see a lot better, clearer, slow motion, blown up version, to be in a position to say that it looked like to me that he was going for something in his pocket or on his hip,” McFarlane said.
FBI Special Agent in Charge for Oregon, Greg Bretzing, said in a statement of that portion of the video: “On at least two occasions, Finicum reaches his right hand toward a pocket on the left inside portion of his jacket. He did have a loaded 9 mm semi-automatic handgun in that pocket.”
Finicum’s family said they are not “accepting at face value” the FBI’s statement Finicum was armed, but they state even if he was armed they don’t think he was posing a threat through is actions.
McFarlane said: “Why would he put his hand down there and then raise his hand again? I would be more inclined to say that he was moving around, using his hands and arms again gesturing, and trying to keep his balance.”
Finicum was shot by an OSP trooper, and 30 seconds after that, law enforcement, according to Bretzing, deployed “flash bangs to disorient any other armed occupants. Shortly after that, they deployed less-lethal sponge projectiles with OC capsules. Those OC capsules would be similar to pepper spray.”
The family goes on to offer their interpretation of the legality of the FBI and Oregon State Police’s actions, citing Supreme Court precedent, and they claim their loved one was left lying in the snow as agents “terrorized” the others in the vehicle that had crashed while avoiding a police road block.
The FBI states they offered medical aid about 10 minutes after the shooting, and once they were confident “they had addressed any further threats.”
They Finicum family states they are, “deeply troubled that our governments would view whatever was happening at the Malheur Wildlife Refuge to be worth spilling blood over.”
McFarlane says the family is focusing on burying their loved one, but he said they have been approached by several high power lawyers who have seen the video and want to take on this case.
The full statement from the family can be read in the embedded PDF below:
Funeral services for LaVoy Finicum will be held Friday, February 5 in Kanab, Utah, according to the statement. Kanab is located about 40 miles from Finicum’s home town of Cane Beds, Arizona.
According to a Facebook post on “LaVoy Finicum’s Stand for Freedom”, the funeral will be at a church house at 1436 S. McAllister Drive with visitation from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and a service from 2:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. The post states all are invited to pay their respects.

PPN condemns the violent action taken by the Harney County Sheriff's Department along with the FBI in the execution of arrests associated with the people at the Malhuer National Wildlife Refuge occupation.
PPN condemns the DISHONEST tactics used to arrest Jason Patrick on January 28th. Mr. Patrick's safety, well being and emotional state were compromised when the FBI lied not only to Mr. Patrick but to PPN representatives trying to assist with the PEACEFUL removal of people at the MNWR. The FBI stated to Mr. Patrick and the PPN that he was “free to go.” Mr. Patrick walked 7 miles in sub freezing temperatures only to be arrested at the checkpoint north of the Narrows.
PPN condemns the false statements given to the public by the FBI, Harney County Sheriff's Department and the Harney County officials.

Calling on any and all Americans to come to Burns, Oregon to come to the aid of the American people standing against these violent, malicious and deceitful tactics. Come stand together with other Americans, and express our Constitutional right to PEACEFULLY assemble and air our grievances.
This operation will demand the following:
- Immediate detention by Oregon State Police of the FBI special agent in charge along with all agents and LEO involved in the shooting death of Lavoy Finicum. A first hand eyewitness account presents reasonable cause for arrest while the investigation takes place.
- Immediate removal of all militarized FBI personnel and equipment from Harney County. All State and County Law Enforcement officers are not included and requested to stay and assist in the process to keep the peace.
- Immediate resignation of Judge Steve Grasty, Sheriff David Ward, County commissioner Pete Runnels, and County commissioner Dan Nichols.
In order to successfully accomplish our mission, we will need any and all Americans to PEACEFULLY assemble within Burns, Oregon immediately. The success of this mission depends fully on the number of people that will come to PEACEFULLY stand and demand the items above be initiated.

Commentary (# 4) about the FBI Ambush and Murder of Lavoy Finicum in Burns Oregon

Commentary (# 4) about the FBI Ambush and Murder of Lavoy Finicum in Burns Oregon

Why Is Freedom So Important?

One Cowboy’s Stand for Freedom
LaVoy Finicum [was] a Northern Arizona Rancher who loves nothing more in life than God, family, and freedom.
As he has watched the ever increasing encroachment of government into the lives of the American people he has felt to make a stand for freedom.  He has drawn a line in the sand and that line is the Constitution in its original intent.
The Constitution of the United States of America is a charter to protect the freedom of man by putting strict limits on government.  We are living in a day when that supreme law of the land has been shredded by the very government that took an oath to uphold it.  By their actions the Federal Government has become lawless and stalks the liberties of this land under the guise of social justice.
Shown below are LaVoy and Jeanette’s 11 children.  This is why freedom is so important!

A Sample.  Comments laced with F-word insults and little/no substance  were excluded by me from this re-post.  -- Max

 Draw your own conclusions.
1) Facts matter.
2) We are NOT the Michael Brown crowd.
3) “Died resisting tyranny” is actually a better write-up than “died via murder in cold blood by tyrants”.
4) Legitimacy is a function of credibility, and vice versa. Both are indispensable to achieving victory. Don’t waste either.
UPDATE 2315EST 28JAN2016: H/t Insty for this wrap-up timeline at Malheur; OPB says it’s not over

123 responses to “FBI Video Footage

  1. Whose jurisdiction was this? This was Federal land and Federal Jurisdiction. yet the shooting was by Oregon State Police.
    • Jurisdiction is irrelevant. They all play together. Too bad not even a blip on the MSM, anywhere. The FSA and Black Lives Matter movement had thier shit on plugged in 24/7 news with live reports and side stories. Doesn’t fit the narrative of the agenda. BLM owned by Dept of Ag. who is led by former execs of the big agricorps and their GMO shit. Killing off the small ranchers and farmers. Plus the land is being sold for chinese solar development and russians to mine uranium.
  2. Cannot tell what he was doing with his hands when he got shot. He had them up in the air initially but at moment of being shot it looked like he was either reaching into pocket or maybe he holding onto his side.If he was shot first, then he may have been trying to hold his wound. Shots fired at the car for more than 1 minute. Audio would clarify this confusion.
    • The bright flashes on the passenger side looked a lot like “9 banger” stun grenades, which would somewhat comport with the Victoria statement (given stress and panic). My question is what ISR asset were they using, and does this fit a state or federal MO for these types of things.
    • You know, that’s a good question. Did he reach before or after the shooting starts. Haven’t watched with audio.
Seems it might be worth getting a low profile dash cam.
      • or wearable vid/body cam
        cameras work both ways…
        • This can’t be repeated enough.
If you are participating in a protest or demonstration, or if there is any possibility that you will be interacting with law enforcement, use a body cam or a dash cam. Make sure it’s livestreaming if at all possible.
Without a camera, the police’s version of the story becomes the only version.
          • ACY,
            body cam/dash cam/livestreaming
For all we know, the civilians (including OSP, et al) were using cameras and such and these were seized as evidence, never to be seen again.
As far as livestreaming, does a remote area like this one even have infrastructure for this, or is it turned off, or even jammed, for the festivities? If you don’t own the comm infrastructure, it doesn’t exist.
Even so, all any such data collection provides, assuming the survivors can ever get their hands on it afterward, is “who shot John?” kind of evidence. John is shot either way, whether it is documented or not. Better that John avoid placing himself into a position where he can be shot.
It is obvious to the world what the rules of engagement are, and has been for some time. Accept this reality and move forward,
In the spin war, the house wins all ties, and even those several pips under or over, and this fact emboldens brutality.
    • Drones do not have audio./ S//
  3. Did he not have his hands up there?
  4. …and Special Agent Greg Bretzing believes this footage “vindicates” the OSP and FBI?
Not a smart man, is he….
    • No and it will only reinforce the following:
      * Drones/black helicopters really do follow American citizens.
      * This was an ambush of a protestor/dissident/spokesperson going to a community meeting.
      * Like Kennedy’s limo this truck will likely get a special detailing or will disappear altogether.
      * As I mentioned a couple days ago if you’re going to play the game, you don’t travel in a convoy with less than 30 people.
      * A promise of safe passage or negotiations in good faith is worthless. Look to the Native American experience for historical confirmation.
      * Had this happened to a dissident in Russia, Obama and the US State Dept would be on the MSM condemning the use of force and the ambassador to the UN would be demanding an investigation and sanctions.
      * Finally: it confirms the old thug rule that might makes right and the authoritarian police state has now fully substituted for the Constitutional rule of law.
  5. All were wetting their pants to be the first to kill a rancher. OSP just happened to be first. Prosecutable point; I think not. I saw a murder in the video. When they say “Move along people, nothing to see hear.” they mean it. Good advice if you want to stay alive. I bet more Feds are reading this posting than are pursuing Hillary’s emails too. I’m angry about this, but out of ideas. When a thug like Michael Brown gets the president’s attention but this incident doesn’t, you can bet it’s best to avoid stepping on the snake.
  6. Stealth Spaniel
Murder, simply murder. Wonder if any of these heroes will go to jail?
Patriots need to think smarter. This is an open fuXXing road with nothing but them and their killers and convenient pine trees.
1-We need plans A,B,C, and even D. This is just ideals being led to their deaths by The Joker and his minions. An ambush is not productive.
2-Think old school. I would never get in that car-but I might ride a horse (preferably a mule) down a back road & up the back country where I could get on a hill and look out for God- and liars. Be prepared for nasty weather-4 seasons to pick from.
3- Lots and lots of people with important jobs, more important salaries, and really important friends don’t actually like us and what we stand for. Before all of this went down, people on our side should have been called, favors roped in, and attorneys lined up. We can’t set ourselves and our progeny free when we are in the grave.
4- Clear goals, clear objective, and clear and careful ways to get there. Washington had battle plans, spies, sympathizers, and ways to reinforce his goals. Let us start rereading our history, and learning from those who first took on this war.
I can only pray that much good comes from one good man’s death.
  7. I watched the first part of the video four times, and the thug that came out of the trees on the left of the frame shot him FROM BEHIND!! How did the thug see his hands at all?
This was an intended event. The tyrants at this roadblock knew they were going to shoot, and deployed ahead of the arrival of the car into the snowbank. There is no other logical conclusion.
    I am pissed BEYOND WORDS.
  8. Looked to me like he was opening his coat, to show that he was not armed.
  9. Shot in the back!
This proves very little. As mentioned, without audio, it’s impossible to tell how many shots were fired or from where. With the exception of the cowardly back shooting that is!
Likewise what was said by Lavoy or the cops.
But hey, the .00003% went home safe.
  10. Two distinct flashes directly prior to Lavoy leaving the first stop.
  11. Contra factum, non argumentum.
  12. Over at kenny’s
“He exited the vehicle with his arms up….. was floundering in the deep snow causing his arms (hands) to flail around for balance. He WAS walking towards the agent next to the road rapidly and that agent shot him in a panic causing Finicum to reach to the wound site. At that point the second agent who was hiding in the woods approached from behing and shot him in the back at “point blank” range. A clear case of Murder! The agent who shot him from behind had absolutely no knowledge about where Finicum’s hands were since he could not see them. That second agent also fired his long gun without justification……….. Had Finicum wanted to go down fighting, he would have exited the vehicle with his pistol drawn and shooting aggressively. Shame…Shame!!!”
    Josey Whales
“i saw a man get shot in the back. guy walking up on his left didn’t have his gun out. i see rounds in the windshield and in passenger side of truck. i saw more than three flashes. i see mercs WANTING to shoot them trying to shoot until someone called off the dogs. Protests are pointless, fsa busy watching idol. courts corrupt. leo…mercs. a good mans falls trying to awaken the sheep,, a waste. condolences to the family. saddening. 4th gen. is the last recourse.”
Seems the cops in O.R. love killing them some ranchers.
If any of this is in fact real to begin with… fuckers are as crooked as a dogs hind leg.
    • Shinmen Takezo
There will be no “Nuremberg defense” statements allowed.
    • After hearing what the unelected unqualified Governor said publicly, the OSP knew what should be done for the next promotion.
Kate Brown knows nothing of Oregon outside the beach and I-5 valley Soviet Republics.
  13. We are NOT the Michael Brown crowd.
    Right, because we don’t matter.
  14. Now we all know what to expect for being “flyover people.” We know how THEY will behave and to expect only the worst of bad treatment.
    • As a kid I figured out by watching the weatherman on the national news that my state didn’t matter because he always talked about other states while standing in front of mine obscuring it from view.

It looks to me that he had his hands in the air, and might have been shot and then dropped his arms. Turned away from the shooter coming from the road, and the shooter from the trees put him down. Looks like he kept his hands in the air even as he was on his back as he expired. Sad day for America, the boys are probably singing Lee Greenwood songs back at the Trooper’s Barracks.

    1. Now wait a minute here.
      Pardon me Pete, what facts?
The mind believes what it wants to believe. That is the main component behind the art and science of misdirection and false flag. Can anybody say for sure that is Lavoy Finnicum in that video?
Where is the proof positive this is actual video of the event of Lavoy Finnicum’s death?
I can’t tell if the person who appears to be shot by another person is LaVoy Finnicum.
Only thing I can see for fact is indistinct figures of people who appear to have weapons, one traffic stop by what appears to be law officers, a road block on a blind corner, and a person who runs from the drivers door of the truck that wrecked in a snow bank avoiding the road block on a blind corner, raise his or her hands, and what looks like he or she was patting their jacket while looking confused running back and forth before falling down, 3 or four flashes that may or may not be flash bang grenades, and the rear passenger door on the wrecked truck partly open against the snow then shut.
Pardon my skepticism, but my government is not above staging false flag events to hide or obsfucate the truth or events when it suits it’s needs. Remember who we are dealing with here. People behind acts resulting in mass murder in Waco Texas, which they proceeded to obsfucate and misdirect the public from the truth. Operation Fast & Furious, we still don’t know the truth. Benghazi, the truth? A president who still hasn’t come clean on his past, his birth certificate, a laundry list of unknowns and apparent lies covered for. A presidential candidate who has literally gotten away with murder and treason of the highest order.
We are talking about people who created their own “laws” to avoid Habeas Corpus and other integral components of the structure of republican form of government so they can do whatever they wish without being responsible or accountable.
I wouldn’t give a bucket of warm spit for the veracity of this video considering the source. I would be a total sucker to take this video as truth after all the lies my government has served this country without documented proof it is a recording of what actually transpired around LaVoy Finnicum’s death.
      • Ok.
But ask yourself if it reasonable to believe the other accounts after applying the same level of justified skepticism.
Test anything offered as evidence rigorously.
But apply equal rigor to all claimed evidence.
My personal takeaway from the whole affair?
        More PT.
        More training.
        More practice.
        More team building.
More helping others of like mind.
More help to build others of like mind.
        More effort at being educable.
I don’t think Mr. Finicum would disapprove of any such activity.
        • Good point, as remember what that guy once said, “Trust but verify”.
I do know my government has a distinctive pattern of dissimulation and ulterior motives, and in the sphere of my life most I know do not. It is all I have to go by. My government doesn’t exactly have a sterling track record of being open and contrite about its actions.
Things are in motion to the point where it is out of control. None of this would have come to pass if the sonofabitches running this country where honest people who obeyed the rule of law to begin with.
Does it really matter if this video is factual evidence? LaVoy is dead. This government has his blood on their hands, for what? They killed Lavoy for good or bad. You can’t take back a bullet. And over some scrub high desert. Is that worth killing men for? Who has the moral right to do that? Probably other people who stand up to those running our government are going to die, probably very many of us, I wouldn’t be surprised if I do too, before things change for the better.
Those in power are going to play this for all the political capitol they can squeeze out of it to justify further trespasses on our primal freedom’s. and use it to pogrom and disenfranchise all who they deem undesirable, use it to foist more tyranny upon us. There are no signs they are backing down. And where is the leadership of this country in the penultimate event? Some brakes on it? Not a peep Pete. Crickets…
Those boys took it upon themselves to fill the vacuum of reasoned leadership, in their own way, they knowingly risked it all, for all our sakes. And they are being pilloried and gunned down for their principles and virtue. I believe they deserve every benefit of the doubt imaginable. It costs nothing. Besides they where going anyplace! They weren’t hiding, or hiding their intent. They did nothing to nobody, but speak out reasonably against onerous acts by their government. What crimes are those? Crimes you execute a man for?
I’ll quote David Stockman today: There is unaccountable, implausible, whacko-world stuff going on everywhere.
          • I don’t disagree.
My point overall is to distrust all initial reports, especially “eyewitness” reports.
There are a ton of lessons to be learned from this event. Culper has started the list. Maybe an open thread today to flesh out more would be helpful.
        • More OPSEC, more COMSEC, more ELSEC, decoy vehicles, and need to know basis for personnel movements.
        • Additional takeaway: If you want to go the Gandhi route, go the Gandhi route. There’s nothing wrong with that. But if you want to go out in a blaze of glory, have a better plan to take some of them with you.
        • To what end?
They murdered a Blue Team member and everyone sat there doing nothing.
          To what end?
          Push the 3% marketing department?
Looks like he had his hands up until he got distracted, they had his attention front and center, but it looks like dude behind him took his attention off of what was front and center… A person could interpret that in any direction they wanted to take it.. personally, I think with two dudes barking orders, pulling him in 2 directions….. and….. thats as far as I can take it… I got that from body language, im certainly not an expert……whats being said to him is anyone’s guess…hell, for all we know they could be goading him into reacting… It’s tragic as hell, no matter how it went down.. I have a lot of respect for people with high levels of conviction, But I fear the recklessness in which some choose to direct it… Tunnel vision has it’s place, but it’s a pretty thin skill to implement in a world where shit comes in every single direction..
I wish they would have stayed put.. you can’t be running around the countryside like that.. Obviously they were just one roadblock away from the end of their thing…The MSM will barely give it a notice.. but the 15 seconds they do give it will be like a bathing a cat.
